Upchurch Village Hall

Refurbishment

We have undertaken a major refurbishment of the hall thanks to funding grants received from Queenborough Fishery Trust, Kent County Council, Swale Borough Council, Garfield Weston Foundation and FCC Communities Foundation. We have also received donations from CO-OP, UpARA, Short Mat bowls club, WI and other private donations.

A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS HELPED MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

We have upgraded the hall main electrics and installed a brand new fire alarm and detection system, to ensure the health and safety of the hall users. During September 20 we installed a new ceiling, upgraded the lighting, installed a new floor and replaced the fire doors, ready for the opening in October 20. We have also installed new lighting and heaters in the toilets, meeting room and corridors.
In August 21 we installed a suspended ceiling and new lighting in the back hall and improved the plumbing and facilities in the toilets. Additional external lighting has also been installed.
